The 15th CONFERENCE ASPHALT PAVEMENTS will take place from November 28th - 29th, 2023 in Budweis. The event focuses on the topics of quality assurance in road construction, availability and quality of aggregates as well as digitalization as a contribution to a sustainable asphalt industry.
The conference will feature presentations from industry leaders from Slovakia, Austria, Bavaria and representatives of the Slovenian Asphalt Roads Association, who will share their expertise and experiences. An exhibition also provides the opportunity to learn about new methods and technologies in detail. Q Point will be on site and present our digital solutions for more sustainable and resource-saving road construction.
Dr. Thomas Leopoldseder, CEO Q Point Group, will give the lecture “How can the digital value chain between construction and mixing plants contribute to sustainable road construction!”
Sustainability is not just a buzzword, but sustainable action is increasingly demanded by people and organizations, but also by regulations at national and/or international level. Today, there is a multitude of mature technologies that can be used to make the asphalt road construction value chain more ecological and sustainable. Digitalization plays an essential role in this. With the help of digital solutions, individual processes can be made more efficient and cross-process optimization opportunities can also be exploited. Lower resource use, higher quality and documentation for the use and disposal phase are the result.
