The European Asphalt and Bitumen Association (EAPA and Eurobitume) are jointly organizing the 8th E&E CONGRESS in Budapest. From June 19 to 21, 2024, the congress will return to the face-to-face format after three years. The motto is "Resilience - Sustainability - Innovation". The event provides a platform for the asphalt and bitumen industry to present current solutions for new challenges. The aim is to promote innovation, the exchange of experience and networking, as well as to attract future leaders to the industry.

Title: The digital value chain in asphalt paving using the example of a construction site at Zurich Airport
"The presentation will focus on the renovation of the runway at Zurich Airport, which was carried out in several stages during the night. It will specifically address the digitalization of processes, which enabled precise planning, ordering, production, delivery, paving, compaction, and documentation. Overall, the technical and logistical challenges, as well as the importance of digitalization for efficient construction management and quality assurance in such extensive construction projects, will be discussed."
