For our development site in Langenthal, Switzerland,
we are looking to fill the following position immediately:
 

Database & Backend Developer (.NET/SQL Server)

Your future key role

Together with your teammates, you will develop sophisticated business applications to support production processes for concrete and asphalt mixtures. You will play an active role in shaping the next generation of our applications. Your focus will be on database and backend development, as well as data preparation for the reports integrated into the application. You will implement and maintain various application components, play a central role in architectural design, and ensure performant, scalable and reliable data solutions.

Core responsibilities:
 

• Conceptualizing and developing advanced business applications in an agile environment
• Developing robust and highly available application components and services (.NET / Entity Framework)
• Designing, optimizing and maintaining complex database structures and queries on Microsoft SQL Server
• Preparing data and creating high-performance reports using tools such as Crystal Reports
• Creating technical specifications and independently implementing enhancements and solutions

What you bring – Your tech stack & profile
 

Your tech stack:

• Solid experience in developing business software using C# / .NET and Entity Framework
• In-depth expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, database design, and performance optimization
• Experience working with reporting tools

Your profile:

• Completed higher education (HF, FH, University) in computer science or a comparable qualification
• Strong understanding of modern software architectures and enthusiasm for innovative technologies
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a structured, quality-oriented work approach
• Good German and English skills
